Orthodontics

Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the most effective and recommended way to correct misaligned teeth and occlusion.
Both non-removable and removable constructions are used for orthodontic treatment. Removable constructions include plates and caps, and non-removable constructions - brackets, which may be metal, ceramic, self-ligating or lingual.

Unremovable constructions

Metal braces

The most widespread and, at the same time, affordable construction, which is fixed on the outer surface of the tooth, is a strong and reliable fixation.

Ceramic braces

Its advantage is the aesthetic side, unlike a metal bracket, it repeats the color of the tooth and is less noticeable.

Lingual brace

Fixation takes place on the inner surface of the tooth and is used in relatively mild cases.

Removable constructions

In addition to braces, orthodontic treatment is possible with individual caps - aligners. The advantage of cap treatment is that it is not visible, it can be removed as needed, and at the same time it is a comfortable construction. Its treatment period does not require regular visits to the doctor and hygiene is also very simplified.

To achieve quick results, it is necessary to wear it daily, 24 hours a day, it can be removed only when eating and maintaining dental hygiene. Each cap is changed every 2 weeks, the treatment period lasts from 1 to 2 years. In difficult cases, when it is impossible to treat without braces, a combined method is recommended.

The duration of orthodontic treatment depends on the complexity of the condition, starting from 6 months and lasting up to 2 years.
