Dental Implantation

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a titanium artificial root placed in the jawbone, which serves as a foundation for an artificial crown. The result — a tooth that looks, feels and functions like a natural one. Implantation is today's most reliable solution for replacing a missing tooth — unlike a bridge or denture, it does not affect neighboring teeth and preserves the jawbone.

Who is a candidate for implants?

Implants are suitable if you have lost one, several or all of your teeth. Also — if a removable denture causes discomfort, or you want a permanent, natural-looking solution. Limitations may exist in cases of insufficient bone volume or certain systemic conditions — this is assessed during the consultation and 3D scan.

Which implant brands do we use?

Renome uses certified, clinically tested implants — iZen (South Korea), Osstem (South Korea), MIS (Israel), Straumann (Switzerland) and Zimmer (USA). The best option for your case is chosen at the consultation, based on your individual situation.

How much does implantation cost?

The price depends on the implant brand, the complexity of your case and the number of steps required. An exact cost is determined after the consultation and 3D scan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is implantation painful?

- No. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. Mild discomfort during healing is normal and usually passes within 2–3 days.

How long do implants last?

- The implant itself is designed to last a lifetime — provided oral hygiene is maintained and regular dental check-ups continue. Titanium is biocompatible, fuses with the bone and does not deteriorate over time.

How long does the full process take?

- The implant is placed in a single visit. After that, a healing period of 4–6 months follows, during which the implant fuses with the jawbone. Only then is the permanent crown attached.
